Like they say, they don't make 'em like they used to. The commercial woods of today can't compare to the lumber sawn from old-growth forests over a century ago. These solemn, majestic timbers are now being reclaimed from old barns and buildings all across the country. Besides keeping a long heritage alive, they help give new homes an old soul. Mother Nature approves as well. Reusing this great resource is good for the environment.

Each restored piece has its own distinctive appearance and history. Marks of character are the nail and bolt holes from a previous long-term engagement. When we apply our hand-rubbed oil finish, the deep, rich patina of the wood emerges reflecting its character and charm. What's more, this well-aged timber is harder, denser and more stable than wood from younger trees. It stays "true", which means the joinery is less likely to change over time. Truth, integrity and tradition. That's what recycled timber offers - by the ton.
