This couple found us at the local Builder’s Showcase homeshow . They had recently purchased this home, and were looking to make some significant design changes to the exterior. With their incredible view of the north end of the Swan Range from the existing deck, they wanted to increase and expand their use of this space – as a gathering place for friends and relatives as well as a peaceful private retreat. The queen post truss in the timber frame covered deck space spans 13’6” and stands 14’9” at the highest point of the ridge (from the deck). The same kiln dried Doug fir timbers also form the structure of the new deck system.
